Sandy Beach Commons

Sandy Beach Commons will be a multi-generational garden community of 16 to 20 homes, located along the shores of the Nechako River.  Our vision is to create a unique, sustainable development that fosters connection to community while providing resiliency to the residents and wider neighbourhood through flood protection measures. The site will include restored and enhanced wetlands and walking paths, shared permaculture food gardens and orchards, renewable energy sources and rainwater harvesting. 

The homes themselves will be highly efficient, architecturally designed spaces and will include a common house for shared meals and gatherings around the fire pit and will offer spare rooms for guest visits.
